The Midnight Wine® Weigela is a dwarf version of the Wine & Roses®.  It has dark burgundy-purple foliage and pink flowers.  A Weigela is a thick, spreading, rounded shrub with perfect, funnel-like flowers. The 1 1/2″ long flowers are paler on the inside with beautifully bright colors on the outer flower making this a standout plant. Trimming after flowering may be necessary to maintain the shape of the Weigela.

Bloom Time:  Beginning May for 1-2 months.

Growth Habit:  Low, Mounded, Dwarf, 18-24″ in height, 24″ in width.

Foliage:  Dark burgundy-purple.

Sun/Shade: Sun.
