The ‘Heavy Metal’, also known as blue switch grass, has stiff, upright clumps of powder-blue foliage.  The panicles of pink flowers extend 12-18″ above the foliage, which turns a bright yellow in the fall, so it remains attractive throughout the winter.

Bloom Time:  Mid to Late Summer.

Growth Habit: 3-5′ in height, 2-3′ in width.

Foliage:  Stiff, Powder-Blue.
