The ‘Sixteen Candles’ Clethra is a dense shrub with dark green foliage. Clethra is also known as Summersweet due to the very fragrant white flowers that appear in mid-summer. The ‘Sixteen Candles’ is a seedling of the ‘Hummingbird’, but it has larger blooms that stand upright.
